Earth Month with Wild About Atlantic Highlands begins its 3rd annual festivities on April 12th! The Gallery Show is “Healing Nature” and the Opening Reception will be from 6-8pm on April 26th.
Join us on April 12th for a day of service - first we will join Clean Ocean Action in the harbor for a Beach Sweep, then we will support the Atlantic Highland’s Green Team as they install a Native Olfactory Garden! The Garden will be by the new Skate Park and will create wildlife habitat as well as pollinator opportunities all the while presenting the town with beautiful fragrances and colors.
That same weekend, April 13th, join us AT THE GALLERY for Sustainability Ideas & Seed Swap with Lisa & Laura Bagwell from 1-3pm!
On April 23rd, 7pm, Save Coastal Wildlife’s Jenna Reynolds will give a talk ‘How Nature Heals’.
On April 25th, 7pm, Elaine Egidio will be doing her 3rd annual guided meditation “HeART-Centered Connections” at the gallery.
On April 26th, the Atlantic Highlands Shade Tree Commission will be doing their Sapling giveaway at Borough Hall from 10am-1pm.
Also on April 26th, from 1-3pm, stop by the gallery with your dog to take some photos of your pup in Peace Pointe’s Dog Photo Booth. There will be fun plaques, signs, and messaging so you can customize your photo experience with your pup!
The Opening Reception for “Nature Heals” will be from 6-8pm and there will be snacks and refreshments - come out to see the beautiful work of local artists and hear from them about how they were inspired by healing nature.
On April 27th, The Plastic Wave Project will be doing a Clothing Swap at AHARTs from 1-4pm
