WITH JOHNNY CARSON.

AFTER TEN YEARS WITH NBC, HE STARTED AN INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION COMPANY UNDER THAT BANNER HE CREATED TELEVISION SERIES WITH ROBERT KLEIN, HOWARD STERN, DR. RUTH WESTHEIMER, AND GILBERT GOTTFRIED, ERNIE KOVACS REVISITED, AND THE THEATRICAL SPECIALS, 'CANDIDA' BY GEORGE BERNARD SHAW, WITH BLYTH DANNER, AND 'THE CRADLE WILL ROCK' THE MUSICAL WITH

IN THE THEATRE LOLLOS HAS WRITTEN AND DIRECTED A MUSICAL VERSION OF SHAKESPEARE’S TWELFTH NIGHT, 'LOVE AND LET LOVE' AT THE SHERIDAN SQUARE THEATRE OFF BROADWAY, NEW YORK.
LOLLOS HAD A REAL HIT ON HIS HANDS IN 2002 WHEN HE

CO-AUTHORED, WITH MARSHA LEBBY, THE COMEDY 'MR. GOLDWYN' STARING, ALAN KING AT THE PROMENADE THEATRE, NEW YORK.
DIRECTED BY GENE SAKS AND PRODUCED BY DAVID BROWN.
THE PLAY RAN FOR FIVE MONTHS AT THE PROMENADE THEATRE
AND GARNERED RAVE REVIEWS FROM THE CRITICS. “IT SURE WAS A LOT
OF FUN TO WRITE,” LOLLOS SAID, WHO EXPLAINED THAT THE PRODUCTION PROVIDES NOT ONLY A GLIMPSE INTO THE MOGUL’S LIFE AND THE MOVIE-MAKING BUSINESS, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, A CONTEXT TO THE CHANGES WHICH WERE TAKING PLACE IN THE 1950S. SOME OF THOSE CHANGES, MOST NOTABLY THE INVENTION OF TELEVISION, HAD A TREMENDOUS IMPACT ON
THE MOTION PICTURE INDUSTRY, ACCORDING TO LOLLOS. HE AND
MARSHA LEBBY HAVE JUST COMPLETED THE TWO ACT COMEDY
'CALL OF NATURE' THAT HAD ITS FIRST READING
AT THE DIRECTORS COMPANY, NEW YORK.

AS A DIRECTOR, LOLLOS JUST COMPLETED,
'THEODORE BIKEL; IN THE SHOES OF SHOLOM ALEICHEM'
A FEATURE LENGTH FILM ON THE LIFE AND WORK OF THE ACTOR THEODORE BIKEL, AND HIS LIFELONG ARTISTIC DEVOTION TO THE WRITINGS OF FAMED YIDDISH WRITER, SHOLOM ALEICHEM WHOSE

'TEVYA STORIES' ARE THE BASIS OF 'FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.'

LOLLOS IS CURRENTLY MOUNTING A FULL PRODUCTION

OF “LOVE AND LET LOVE” HIS MUSICAL ADAPTATION OF SHAKESPEARE’S “TWELFTH NIGHT” AT THE ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS
ARTS COUNCIL GALLERY SPACE ON FIRST AVENUE.
